Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Significant Thunderstorm Risk south of I-80...with an
associated:
Limited hail risk...up to 1 inch.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Fog Risk mainly near Lake Michigan.
DISCUSSION...
A nearly stationary frontal boundary was just south of the
Interstate 80 corridor at midday. Showers and thunderstorms
will increase in coverage along and south of the front this
afternoon, with the potential for a few strong storms capable
of producing hail and gusty winds.
