This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to 1 inch south of I-80 early.
Limited Flooding Risk south of I-80.
Limited Fog Risk near Lake Michigan.

DISCUSSION...

A nearly stationary cold frontal boundary south of the
Interstate 80 corridor this afternoon will remain the focus for
showers and thunderstorms through early tonight. Some of these
storms may be strong, capable of producing gusty winds and hail.
In addition. the slow movement of these storms may result in
locally heavy rainfall amounts around 2 inches. Our previous
stretch of dry weather will limit the flood potential, though
some ponding in low spots is possible.
