THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Significant Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Thunderstorm chances will increase across the area later today
and tonight. Severe weather is unlikely with this activity.
However, a strong storm or two with gusty winds could impact
portions of north central Illinois through this evening.
Otherwise, torrential downpours will be the main threat from these
thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Friday and Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Monday and Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A cold front is expected to shift across the area on Thursday.
There is a low chance for a few strong storms to develop ahead of
this front Thursday, mainly across northwestern Indiana and far
eastern Illinois.

Spotters will likely not be needed through tonight.
