The Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater.
* At 930 AM Wednesday the stage was 9.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for Algonquin were moved to this
location on July 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Fell below flood stage at 9:00 AM Wednesday.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to 9.2 feet by Thursday
morning.
