THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Significant Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Areas of dense fog will continue early this morning before
dissipating by late morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Fog Risk.
Friday...
Significant Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A strong weather system will impact the area Thursday night
through Saturday, with gusty winds at times throughout that
period. Thunderstorms are likely Friday afternoon, and given
the pattern forecast, there is a chance that some of these could
be severe. Behind this system, some snow appears likely and it is
possible a light accumulation could occur over a part of the
region, though likely only on grassy surfaces after this current
warm stretch.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
