NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected overnight
across the region. Severe weather is not anticipated.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Tuesday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday and Thursday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Thunderstorms will increase in coverage late Tuesday afternoon
and persist into Tuesday night. While the most substantial threat
for severe storms looks to be south of Interstate 80, there is
some severe threat across all of the outlook area. Large hail and
damaging winds will be the most likely severe weather threats,
however there is some tornado risk as well.
