NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...A FEW MAY PRODUCE...
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.
ISOLATED TORNADOES.
AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS
THROUGH EARLY TO MID EVENING. WHILE SEVERE WEATHER IS POSSIBLE
ACROSS THE REGION...THE GREATEST THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL
BE OVER NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS WITH SOME SLIGHT DECREASE IN
SEVERE WEATHER CHANCES POSSIBLE BY MID EVENING AS THE STORMS
MOVE FARTHER EAST.
DISCUSSION:
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS THIS
EVENING WITH SOME POTENTIALLY BECOMING SEVERE. THE PRIMARY
SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WILL BE LOCALLY DAMAGING WINDS AND
PERHAPS A TORNADO A TWO ACROSS THE REGION.
STRONG WINDS WILL FOLLOW THE THUNDERSTORMS LATER THIS
EVENING WITH GUSTS BETWEEN 45 AND 50 MPH POSSIBLE.
FINALLY...WATER LEVELS WILL REMAIN ELEVATED ON AREA STREAMS AND
RIVERS...MAINLY FOR PORTIONS OF THE FOX...ILLINOIS...DUPAGE...AND
ROCK RIVERS.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.
HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE SATURDAY INTO SATURDAY NIGHT...ESPECIALLY
SOUTH OF THE KANKAKEE RIVER.
A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION IS POSSIBLE MONDAY INTO MONDAY NIGHT.
