Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

The Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater.
* At 730 PM Tuesday the stage was 8.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for Algonquin were moved to this
location on July 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Forecast...The river crested below flood stage at 9.0 feet. The
river will fall to 8.9 feet by Thursday morning.
