.Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches over the Fox River basin is resulting
in rises on water levels along the Fox River.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

* until Monday December 21.
* At 930 AM Monday the stage was 8.3 feet.
* Action stage is 9.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for Algonquin were moved to this
location on July 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 9.4 feet by Saturday
morning.
