THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE
FROM ROCKFORD TO CHICAGO TO RENSSELAER. A FEW OF THE STRONGER
STORMS COULD PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND STRONG WIND GUSTS. THE THREAT
FOR SEVERE STORMS IS LOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO REACH INTO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER
90S ON FRIDAY. IN COMBINATION WITH DEW POINTS IN THE LOWER
70S...HEAT INDEX VALUES AROUND 105 ARE LIKELY FRIDAY
AFTERNOON...MAINLY NORTH AND WEST OF A LINE FROM PONTIAC TO
CHICAGO WITH VALUES UP TO AROUND 100 ELSEWHERE.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHWEST
INDIANA FRIDAY MORNING. A COLD FRONT WILL BRING ADDITIONAL CHANCES
FOR THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY NIGHT OVER PORTIONS OF FAR NORTHERN
ILLINOIS. THERE WILL BE PERIODIC CHANCES FOR MORE THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA FROM SATURDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
