Limited to Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Strong winds gusting up to 40 mph from the south-southwest along
with warm and dry conditions will create favorable conditions for
rapidly spreading brush and grass fires this afternoon. The fire
danger will be highest for areas near and south of I-80 and into
portions of the Chicago metro.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Wednesday and Thursday...
Limited to Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk Wednesday night-early Thursday.
DISCUSSION...
Similarly strong and gusty winds from the south-southwest are
expected again on Wednesday through Wednesday night. Strong
westerly winds gusting up to 45 mph are expected behind a cold
front on Thursday.
