Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.

DISCUSSION...

A line of showers with embedded storms will track across the area
tonight. The overall threat for severe weather is low, but locally
damaging wind gusts can't be ruled out with the strongest storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Elevated Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk in the morning.

DISCUSSION...

Southwesterly to westerly winds gusting up to around 45 mph are
expected behind a cold front on Thursday into Thursday evening,
especially north of Interstate 80.

Spotter activation is unlikely through tonight.
