DISCUSSION...
Strong northwest wind gusts to 40 mph this afternoon combined with
dry conditions will create an elevated risk of grass and brush
fire spread this afternoon, mainly south and west of a Dixon to
Kankakee line.
Lake effect showers with isolated embedded thunderstorms are
possible late tonight.
