Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
DISCUSSION...
A strong cold front will move across the area this afternoon.
Gusty northerly winds up to 35 mph will develop in its wake, and a
couple of thunderstorms are also possible. Severe weather is not
anticipated.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Friday Night...
Significant Frost and Freeze Risk.
Saturday Night...
Elevated Frost Risk.
DISCUSSION:
A much colder period of weather is expected Friday into Saturday
following a strong cold frontal passage this afternoon. This cold
period is likely to result in widespread frost and localized
freezing temperatures outside of Chicago and inland from Lake
Michigan.
