Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Significant Fire Weather Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Significant Freeze Risk for northwest Illinois tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Gusty southwest winds 40 mph combined with very dry conditions
continue to create a high fire danger along and south of the
Kankakee River Valley and elevated fire danger across much of the
rest of the area through early evening.

Quick moving showers are expected to move eastward over the area
between 5 and 10 pm. Some of these may produce wind gusts near
50 mph, enough to easily blow loose and non-secured objects.

Low temperatures are expected to fall into the lower 30s in
portions of northern and northwest Illinois west of the Chicago
metro.
