Limited Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk south of I-80.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk south of I-80.
DISCUSSION...
Gusty winds may approach 40 mph at times south of I-80 this
afternoon. These winds, along with low relative humidities,
will also lead to an elevated fire danger south of I-80 this
afternoon.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Tonight into Early Friday...
Significant Frost and Freeze Risk outside of Chicago.
Friday...
Limited Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Low temperatures falling into the upper 20s and low-mid 30s
will support widespread frost and freezing conditions in areas
away from the city of Chicago tonight into Friday morning.
Another day featuring gusty winds and elevated fire danger is
then expected again on Friday, with areas south of I-80 again
at greatest risk for that.
