This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk this afternoon.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A cold front moving through the area will provide scattered
showers and a slight chance for a few brief thunderstorms through this
afternoon, primarily for areas in the Chicago metro north of I-80.

Additionally, winds will pick up this afternoon to feature
regular gusts near 30 mph.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday through Sunday...
Elevated Frost Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Cold temperatures will move in behind the cold front which will
lead to widespread frost development Friday night into Saturday
morning. There is also the potential for some areas to see
temperatures slightly below freezing which could lead to some
freezing conditions. Another chance for frost will also be
possible on Saturday night, but to a lesser extent. Be sure to
protect sensitive plants Friday night and Saturday night.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
