This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
High Swim Risk after midnight.

DISCUSSION...

A few isolated thunderstorms are possible from the late afternoon
into the evening for locales mainly near and north of I-80.
Severe weather is not expected. Onshore winds will create a high
swim risk.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday...
High Swim Risk.
Monday and Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Large waves and strong currents over southern Lake Michigan due
to gusty northerly winds will cause dangerous swimming conditions
most of Saturday for any late season beachgoers.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward east and southeast at 20 to 30 mph.
