This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to quarter size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
High Swim Risk Tonight in Porter County Indiana.

DISCUSSION...

A cold front is expected to produce isolated to scattered showers and
thunderstorms this afternoon into early this evening as it moves
across the area. The potential also exists for some of these
storms to become severe, with strong damaging winds and hail. It
appears the highest threat for these severe storms will be in areas
generally along and southeast of a line from Chesterton, Indiana
to Crescent City and Gibson City in Illinois.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Friday and Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.


.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed across parts of east central IL into
northwestern IN this afternoon.
