ELEVATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM RISK.
WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM RISK.
LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION:

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE UPPER
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY TUESDAY NIGHT...AND MOVE SOUTHEAST TOWARD
THE OUTLOOK AREA AFTER MIDNIGHT. WHILE SOME WEAKENING IS EXPECTED
AS THESE STORMS APPROACH THE AREA EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING THERE
IS SOME POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SEVERE STORMS WITH
DAMAGING WINDS TO REACH NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS. THE
CHANCE OF PERIODIC SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT WILL
CONTINUE WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
