THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER PORTIONS OF NORTHERN
ILLINOIS AND NORTHWESTERN INDIANA GENERALLY SOUTH OF LASALLE TO
KANKAKEE OVERNIGHT.

LOCALIZED MINOR RIVER FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE KANKAKEE
RIVER.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

A FEW PERIODS OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY OVER PORTIONS OF
NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA THURSDAY AND THURSDAY
NIGHT...WITH THE GREATEST COVERAGE EXPECTED THURSDAY NIGHT.

THERE IS A THREAT FOR SOME STRONG STORMS THURSDAY MORNING...
PRIMARILY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80...WITH SMALL HAIL BEING THE
PRIMARY THREAT. THERE IS A GREATER THREAT OF SEVERE STORMS
THURSDAY NIGHT FOR SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE AREA...GENERALLY
SOUTH OF A LINE FROM HEBRON INDIANA TO PONTIAC. LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS WOULD BE THE PRIMARY SEVERE THREATS.

IN ADDITION TO THE SEVERE THREAT...HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO LIKELY
WITH THESE STORMS. TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY
MORNING COULD EXCEED 2 INCHES...ESPECIALLY AREAS SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 80. THIS WILL LIKELY RESULT IN RISES ON AREA STREAMS
AND RIVERS...WITH FLOODING POSSIBLE IN SOME AREAS.
