THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED THIS MORNING WITH ACCUMULATIONS
UP TO 1 INCH POSSIBLE. THE SNOW MAY MIX WITH LIGHT FREEZING RAIN
EARLY THIS MORNING.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG PORTIONS OF THE
KANKAKEE RIVER. THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK OF LOCALIZED FLOODING
DUE TO ICE JAMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

WARMER TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED EARLY NEXT WEEK AND MAY RESULT
IN RAPID SNOWMELT AND RENEWED RISES ON AREA STREAMS AND RIVERS.
THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK OF LOCALIZED FLOODING DUE TO ICE JAMS.
