...Patchy Slick Spots Possible Due to Light Snow This Morning...
Light snow will develop across portions of northern Illinois
mainly west of the Fox River Valley early this morning.
Temperatures near the freezing mark may allow for some minor
slushy accumulations on untreated or elevated roads, such as
bridges and overpasses. Snow will likely move into the Harvard
and Rockford areas by 730 am, and into the DeKalb, Rochelle and
Dixon areas between 730 am and 9 am. Use caution if you encounter
slick conditions due to snow on roads, especially on overpasses.
