This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Snow Risk overnight.

DISCUSSION...

An approaching weather disturbance will induce scattered snow showers
across parts of northern IL late tonight. Some localized minor
accumulations are possible by daybreak Monday. Any heavier snow
showers may also cause very low visibility.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind and Snow Risks, mainly in Porter
county Indiana.

DISCUSSION...

A strong storm system will lead to snow showers and blustery
northwest winds on Monday. The worst conditions are expected in
Porter County Indiana where the combination of lake effect snow
showers and northwesterly wind gusts up to 50 mph may lead to
slippery travel and periods of very low visibility.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
