This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Snow Risk west of the Fox River Valley and the I-39
corridor across northern and northwest Illinois mainly this
  morning.
DISCUSSION...
Precipitation will develop from east to west across the area
early this morning, mainly in the form of rain in northwest
Indiana and near Lake Michigan in northeast Illinois. Farther to
the west, a mix of rain and snow is likely, and precipitation may
fall as all snow for a time west of the Fox River Valley during
the morning. Some minor slushy accumulations will be possible
where precipitation falls mainly as snow, especially on grassy
surfaces and perhaps untreated elevated roadways and bridge decks.
Snow accumulations are generally expected to be less than an
inch. A mix of rain and snow will continue tonight into Friday
before ending, though temperatures are expected to be above
freezing.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
