This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind and Snow Risk, mainly in Porter
County, Indiana

DISCUSSION...

A strong storm system will induce scattered snow showers across
parts of northern IL. Localized accumulations on bridges and
overpasses are possible by daybreak. Any heavier snow showers may
also cause very low visibility. More impactful conditions are
expected for areas closer to Lake Michigan and in northwestern
Indiana where snow showers and blustery northwest winds are
forecasted. The worst conditions are expected in Porter County
Indiana where the combination of lake effect snow showers and
northwesterly wind gusts up to 50 mph may lead to slippery travel
and periods of very low visibility.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
