High Swim Risk Lake Michigan Shore

DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers are expected through early evening, along with
the possibility for an isolated thunderstorm. A few showers and
storms may produce gusty winds strong enough to down small tree
limbs as well as brief downpours.

Building waves on southern Lake Michigan will result in the
development of dangerous swim conditions at Indiana beaches late
tonight.

Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

High waves on Lake Michigan on Tuesday will result in dangerous
swimming conditions at area Lake Michigan beaches.

A classic summertime pattern of building heat and humidity but
also chances for episodic thunderstorms favored on Thursday
and Friday. Currently, the highest chances for heat and
thunderstorms appears to be on Thursday.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
