Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorm chances will increase later tonight, especially
across interior northern Illinois southward into central Illinois.
Isolated severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail
and wind damage may occur.

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk south of I-80, mainly late Friday night.

DISCUSSION...

A classic summertime pattern of building heat and humidity but
also chances for episodic thunderstorms is favored through
Saturday. Currently, the highest chances for heat and
thunderstorms, including severe weather, appear to be on
Thursday.
