Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Tornado Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon. A
few of these may become strong to severe, roughly along and south
of I-88. While damaging winds are the primary concern, the threat
for a few brief tornadoes cannot be ruled out, particularly if any
storms develop near and just north of I-80. The main window for
severe weather is approximately 2 to 6 PM CDT.
