This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk near and south of I-80...with
an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Snow Risk for far northern Illinois.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered snow showers will be possible through the earlier half
of the morning across far northern Illinois, particularly across
counties adjacent to the Illinois/Wisconsin state line. Minor
accumulations are possible on grassy surfaces.

This afternoon, a line of thunderstorms is expected to move across
areas south of I-80. These storms have the potential to be strong
to severe. While damaging winds is the primary concern, a brief
tornado or two cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Thursday and Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

Spotters may be needed this afternoon and evening south of I-80.
