Weather hazards expected... Elevated Frost Risk. DISCUSSION... Areas of frost to widespread frost development is anticipated late tonight near and northwest of the I-55 corridor outside of Chicago. Near freezing temperatures are forecast near and west of the Fox River Valley. Elsewhere, patchy frost is possible away from the lakefront. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Saturday Morning... Elevated Frost Risk. Sunday... Limited Thunderstorm Risk. Limited Flooding Risk. Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk, especially near Illinois shore. Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk at night, especially Illinois shore. Monday... Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk, especially near the lake. Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk, especially Illinois shore. DISCUSSION: Widespread, soaking rain and blustery winds are becoming increasingly likely Sunday and Monday. Rises in river and stream levels will occur, and flooding may occur on roadways near leaf- clogged sewer drains. Additionally, flooding of parks and trails immediately along the Lake Michigan shore may occur, particularly in Illinois.
