THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Excessive Cold Risk tonight.
Limited Snow Risk late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk in the morning.
Limited Snow Risk, mainly in the morning.

DISCUSSION:

An early season shot of mid winter cold combined with some wind
could result in minimum wind chill values falling into the single
digits below zero in interior portions of northern Illinois late
tonight into early Friday.

In addition, lake effect snow showers are likely late tonight
into Friday in parts of the area downwind of Lake Michigan. While
significant snowfall is unlikely, a minor accumulation of up to
one inch is possible in some locations near Lake Michigan.
