THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Significant Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Showers and thunderstorms are expected tonight across northern
Illinois. Severe weather is not expected, though locally heavy
rainfall will be possible with these storms.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A strong cold front will shift across the area Saturday night,
resulting in another period of showers and storms. These storms
Saturday night will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts
in excess of 60 mph across portions of northern Illinois. Very
heavy rainfall will also be possible with these storms, and this
could result in rapid rises, and possible flooding on area streams
and rivers.
