...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM SATURDAY TO 9 AM CDT
SUNDAY...
The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Freeze
Warning, which is in effect from 11 PM Saturday to 9 AM CDT
Sunday.
* TEMPERATURE...Temperatures will drop to the upper 20s to lower
30s Saturday night, away from the urban heat island affected
areas of the Chicago area. Lowest temperatures will be west of
the Fox River Valley.
* IMPACTS...Any sensitive vegetation left outdoors will likely be
killed as temperatures drop below freezing.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
