THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

ACCUMULATING HEAVY WET SNOW WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND
CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES WILL
BE POSSIBLE GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF A CHICAGO TO AURORA
TO OTTAWA LINE...WITH LESSER AND DECREASING AMOUNTS TOWARD THE
WISCONSIN STATE LINE. SNOWFALL RATES AROUND 1 INCH PER HOUR ARE
EXPECTED LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING. SLIGHTLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHWEST INDIANA. STRONG
NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW LATE TONIGHT
AS MUCH COLDER AIR SPREADS ACROSS THE AREA.

PORTIONS OF THE ILLINOIS AND KANKAKEE RIVERS REMAIN IN FLOOD.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY
NIGHT WITH ACCUMULATIONS AROUND 1 INCH POSSIBLE.

WIND CHILLS 10 BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE MONDAY MORNING AND WIND
CHILLS 15 BELOW TO 20 BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY MORNING.

PORTIONS OF THE ILLINOIS AND KANKAKEE RIVERS WILL REMAIN IN FLOOD
INTO NEXT WEEK.
