ACCUMULATING HEAVY WET SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP THIS
AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO
LOCALLY 5 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTHEAST
OF A WAUKEGAN TO OTTAWA LINE...WITH LESSER AMOUNTS TOWARD THE
NORTHWEST. SNOWFALL RATES AROUND 1 INCH PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE AT
TIMES LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING. STRONG
NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW LATE TONIGHT
AS MUCH COLDER AIR SPREADS ACROSS THE AREA.
PORTIONS OF THE ILLINOIS AND KANKAKEE RIVERS REMAIN IN FLOOD.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
THERE IS A CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY
NIGHT WITH ACCUMULATIONS AROUND 1 INCH POSSIBLE.
WIND CHILLS 10 BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE MONDAY MORNING AND WIND
CHILLS 15 BELOW TO 20 BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY MORNING.
