Weather hazards expected...

Limited Excessive Heat Risk this afternoon.

DISCUSSION...

Expect uncomfortable heat and humidity today with afternoon heat
indices in the middle 90s to near 100 degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Sunday through Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk at times.
Limited Flooding Risk at times.

DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid conditions will continue Saturday.

Periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms can be expected
this weekend into next week, beginning late Saturday afternoon and
evening. A few storms late Saturday afternoon and evening could be
strong to severe with a threat for locally damaging wind gusts,
mainly north and west of I-55.
