DISCUSSION:
ACCUMULATING SNOW IS EXPECTED FOR MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA LATE
SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS
SHOULD BE NORTH OF THE I-80 CORRIDOR...WITH AMOUNTS QUICKLY
DIMINISHING TO THE SOUTH. CURRENT INDICATORS SUGGEST UP TO 10
INCHES OF SNOW TOWARD THE WISCONSIN BORDER OVER A 36 HOUR PERIOD.
THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE THAT THE SNOW MAY CHANGE OVER TO A
FREEZING RAIN MIX OR ALL RAIN SUNDAY EVENING...ESPECIALLY FOR
LOCATIONS SOUTH OF THE I-80 CORRIDOR.
THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CHANCE FOR SNOW ON TUESDAY.
BITTERLY COLD AIR WILL ALSO RETURN FOR THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
WIND CHILL READINGS WILL LIKELY DROP WELL BELOW ZERO...WITH HIGH
TEMPERATURES ONLY IN THE UPPER SINGLE DIGITS TO LOWER TEENS ABOVE
ZERO.
