THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
SIGNIFICANT THUNDERSTORM RISK...WITH AN ASSOCIATED:
LIMITED TORNADO RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK...UP TO 60 MPH.
ELEVATED FLOODING RISK.

PORTIONS OF THE KANKAKEE RIVER WILL REMAIN IN FLOOD.

DISCUSSION:

NON-SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIFT ACROSS THE REGION EARLY THIS
MORNING PRODUCING MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL AND OCCASIONAL
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. THERE IS A CONDITIONAL SEVERE WEATHER
THREAT LATER TODAY IF THERE IS SUFFICIENT HEATING TO DESTABILIZE
LATE THIS MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON. THUNDERSTORMS COULD BECOME
SEVERE WITH DAMAGING WINDS THE PRIMARY THREAT. THERE IS A VERY LOW
BUT NON-ZERO TORNADO THREAT IF SUPERCELLS ARE ABLE TO DEVELOP.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM RISK.
