ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...GENERALLY WEST OF THE
INTERSTATE 39 CORRIDOR.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

ELEVATED THUNDERSTORM RISK.
WEDNESDAY...
LIMITED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM RISK.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM RISK.

DISCUSSION:

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE UPPER MIDWEST TUESDAY
THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY
ESPECIALLY LATE TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT AHEAD OF A SLOW
MOVING COLD FRONT TRAILING FROM THE LOW. SLOW STORM MOVEMENT MAY
RESULT IN LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS ESPECIALLY LATE TUESDAY
NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. A FEW STORMS WEDNESDAY MAY BE STRONG TO
SEVERE...WITH THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS.
