THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...OVERNIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...THE STRONGEST MAY PRODUCE:
QUARTER SIZE HAIL.
LOCALIZED WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH.
BRIEF DOWNPOURS.
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

SOUTHEAST OF A LINE FROM PERU TO DOWNTOWN CHICAGO ILLINOIS.
STORMS WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH OVERNIGHT.

DISCUSSION:

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST ALONG AND SOUTH
OF A COLD FRONT WHICH WILL CONTINUE TO SAG ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
HALF OF THE OUTLOOK AREA OVERNIGHT. THE POTENTIAL FOR ORGANIZED
SEVERE WEATHER HAS DIMINISHED...WITH THE MAIN THREAT OVERNIGHT
BEING ISOLATED QUARTER SIZE HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS LATE WEDNESDAY INTO
THURSDAY...AND AGAIN LATE SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY.
