WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...THE STRONGEST MAY PRODUCE:
HALF DOLLAR SIZE HAIL.
LOCALLY DAMAGING WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH.
HEAVY DOWNPOURS.
AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

THE MOST LIKELY TIMING OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE REGION ALONG
WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED SEVERE WEATHER IS BETWEEN 4 AND
9 PM THIS EVENING.

DISCUSSION:

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST TO TRACK EAST ACROSS
NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWESTERN INDIANA THROUGH EARLY THIS
EVENING. CONDITIONS WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR SOME STORMS TO BECOME
SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS BEING THE MAIN
THREATS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS LATE WEDNESDAY INTO
THURSDAY...AND AGAIN LATE SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY.
