Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater affecting Kane and McHenry
Counties
.One to two inches of rain fell in the last 24 hours which could cause
flooding for the Fox River near Algonquin by Sunday or Monday.

The Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater
* from Monday afternoon to Wednesday evening.
* At 11:30 AM Friday the stage was 7.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for algonquin were moved to this
location on july 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Forecast...Flood stage may be reached by Monday afternoon.
