rise to action stage by Sunday afternoon.

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

* until Wednesday afternoon.
* At 1030 AM Saturday the stage was 7.7 feet.
* Action stage is 9.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for Algonquin were moved to this
location on July 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 9.2 feet by Monday morning.
