SNOW WILL STEADILY INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY EARLY THIS
MORNING...WITH A PERIOD OF MODERATE TO TEMPORARILY HEAVY SNOW
ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80. TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE
FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES ALONG AND NORTH OF A DIXON TO JOLIET TO
VALPARAISO LINE. FURTHER NORTH ALONG A ROCHELLE TO WAUKEGAN
LINE...TOTALS WILL BE CLOSER TO 3 TO 5 INCHES. SNOW WILL DIMINISH
IN INTENSITY LATE THIS MORNING POSSIBLY MIXING WITH LIGHT RAIN.
ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80...SOME SNOW MAY MIX AT TIMES WITH
SLEET SHORTLY AFTER DAYBREAK THROUGH LATE MORNING. SNOW TOTALS
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80 WILL BE MUCH LIGHTER BETWEEN 1 TO 2 INCHES.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY NIGHT.
WINDS MAY GUST AS HIGH AS 45 MPH ON WEDNESDAY.
