AND WINDY ON VALENTINES DAY INTO SUNDAY...

A POWERFUL ARCTIC FRONT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE AREA LATE
TONIGHT...WITH SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS DEVELOPING AND PUSHING EAST
SOUTHEAST TOWARD DAWN INTO THE MID MORNING HOURS. LOCALIZED
ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO A HALF INCH TO INCH ARE POSSIBLE MAINLY
ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80. VERY STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS
GUSTING TO 40 TO 45 MPH WILL DEVELOP ON SATURDAY MORNING AND WILL
CONTINUE INTO THE EARLY TO MID AFTERNOON. COUPLED WITH
TEMPERATURES PLUMMETING INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS DURING THE
AFTERNOON...WIND CHILL VALUES WILL FALL TO 10 TO 20 BELOW ZERO BY
LATE IN THE DAY. IN ADDITION...PATCHY BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED
VISIBILITY ARE POSSIBLE IN OPEN AREAS WHERE MINOR SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS DO OCCUR LATE TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING. WINDS
WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH AS TEMPERATURES FALL BELOW ZERO SATURDAY
NIGHT...RESULTING IN DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES RANGING
BETWEEN 15 AND 30 BELOW ZERO BY EARLY SUNDAY.

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR BITTERLY COLD CONDITIONS
SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY. TRAVEL MAY BECOME DIFFICULT FOR HIGH PROFILE
VEHICLES SATURDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY ON WEST TO
EAST ROADWAYS.
