PERIODS OF RAIN AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY.
THE RAIN MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES WITH MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE...
MAINLY IN LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. AREAS MOST LIKELY TO
SEE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL ARE GENERALLY SOUTH OF A LASALLE TO
CHICAGO LINE. RAIN AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DIMINISH AND
END FROM WEST TO EAST DURING THE EVENING.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTHEAST
PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA THIS AFTERNOON...GENERALLY ALONG AND
SOUTH OF A LINE FROM PONTIAC TO VALPARAISO. DAMAGING WIND GUSTS
OF 60 MPH OR MORE ARE THE MAIN SEVERE WEATHER THREAT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
