Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties
.Heavy rainfall from Thursday night and Friday night will likely
result in significant rises on portions of the Fox and East Branch Du
Page River, with minor flooding possible.

* At 8:30 PM Friday the stage was 7.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for algonquin were moved to this
location on july 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Forecast...Flood stage may be reached by Saturday evening.
