THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP ON THURSDAY MORNING. WIND GUSTS
OF 40 TO 45 MPH ARE LIKELY FOR MOST AREAS. HOWEVER...AREAS NEAR
THE LAKE IN NORTHWESTERN INDIANA COULD EXPERIENCE STRONGER WIND
GUSTS OF 50 TO 55 MPH...ESPECIALLY DURING THE LATE MORNING INTO
THE AFTERNOON.

THESE STRONG WINDS WILL RESULT IN LARGE BATTERING WAVES UP TO 18
FEET...WHICH WILL CRASH ONTO THE NORTHWESTERN INDIANA SHORES. THIS
COULD RESULT IN SOME MINOR LAKE SHORE FLOODING THURSDAY AFTERNOON
AND EVENING.
