THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP THIS MORNING. WIND GUSTS OF
40 TO 45 MPH ARE LIKELY FOR MOST AREAS. HOWEVER...AREAS NEAR THE
LAKE IN NORTHWESTERN INDIANA COULD EXPERIENCE STRONGER WIND GUSTS
OF 50 TO 55 MPH...ESPECIALLY FROM LATE MORNING THROUGH MID
AFTERNOON.

THESE STRONG WINDS WILL RESULT IN LARGE BATTERING WAVES UP TO 18
FEET...WHICH WILL CRASH ONTO THE NORTHWESTERN INDIANA SHORES.
THIS COULD RESULT IN SOME MINOR LAKE SHORE FLOODING THIS
AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
